Ponytail Beanie Sewing Pattern and Tutorial

Learn how to make a ponytail beanie with this fun sewing pattern. This hat pattern comes in child, teen, and adult sizes for the whole family.

I designed this ponytail beanie pattern for lots of different ages, and it's really easy to sew. It's only three seams and a hem! It comes in child sizes 2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, teen, and adult small, adult medium, and adult large.

These ponytail beanies are designed to fit snug, but with enough room for hair or a loose ponytail. Lengthen the hat for a more slouchy look, or sew a deeper hem for more of a knit cap look.

This PDF downloadable pattern comes in NINE SIZES, child size 2 to size 10, teen, and three adult sizes. It comes in only ONE STYLE, a beanie style with two darts, two seams, a hole in the top for hair, and a hem on the bottom.
