6 Mos Men's Shirt Romper Pattern AND Tutorial
This PDF downloadable pattern comes in only ONE SIZE, about 6-12 months, and only ONE STYLE, a baby button down shirt romper pattern that reuses a men's button up shirt.
I thought I would make it from scratch, but I knew I could easily make something similar by using parts of a man’s button up shirt. I have a pattern and tutorial to share! If you use a lightweight shirt, it’s perfect for the hot summer months, and the front buttons or snaps are functional because you use the original shirt front button placket. If you use a heavier button up shirt, it would be warm and cozy for cold winter months.
I like to reuse button up shirts from my husband, dad, or brothers. Lots of people give me extra clothing that they don't want that I can make into something new. It's great to be able to use something that be thrown away to make a new useful item.
If you make something using this pattern, I’d love to see! Please share it on social media with the hashtag #heatherhandmade and tag me!
