The Upcycled Shorts, Pants, and Bloomers PDF Sewing Pattern is a pattern that reuses almost any adult item of clothing and remakes it into shorts, pants, or bloomers. It is one digital download (1 PDF) delivered immediately.

It has both a tiled pattern that can be printed and taped together, and a large A0 size to take to a copyshop.

This pattern can only be used with almost any adult item of clothing like a t-shirt, button up shirt, t-shirt, dress, sweatshirt or skirt; it cannot be used with fabric by the yard. It's a great PDF Pattern for confident beginners wanting to learn to work with knit or woven fabric.

This pattern includes step-by-step instructions, full color photos, and all the pattern pieces with different layers for each size. For help sewing the pattern you can watch the Upcycled Shorts and Pants video or the Upcycled Bloomers video, read the upcycled baby shorts and bloomers tutorial.

The pattern has pattern pieces for sizes 2T, 3T, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.

The first view of the pattern is mid thigh shorts that reuses the original hem from the item of clothing. Use stretch or non-stretch fabric, and it works well with hem details on the side.

The second view of the pattern is a pair of bloomers. It uses the length of the mid thigh shorts with added elastic to bring in the leg. Use stretch fabric from  t-shirts, dresses, skirts, and sweatshirts since you need a hem that can become a casing.

The third view of the pattern is a pair of shorts that are knee length and reuses the original hem from the item of clothing. Use stretch or non-stretch fabric from most adult clothing, and it works well with hem details on the side.

The fourth view of the pattern is a pair of straight leg pants that hit the floor, and it reuses the original hem. Use stretch or non-stretch fabric from most adult clothing, and it works well with hem details on the side.

The fifth view of the pattern a pair of cuffed pants that hit the ankle with an elastic hem. Use stretch fabric from t-shirts, dresses, skirts, and sweatshirts since you need a hem that can become a casing.
